Courtney Francois is the Founder of The Village Organization (LLC) and The Village Organization Foundation (nonprofit). Two connected spaces built to empower youth, families, and communities in Milwaukee through healing, education, and collective care.
As a teenager, Courtney faced significant adversity, including system involvement, homelessness, abuse, and mistreatment. She navigated her way through circumstances that were meant to break her but instead built her. Through resilience, healing, and determination, she transformed her past into purpose.
Those experiences became the foundation of The Village Organization: a safe, culturally grounded space for youth, young adults, and families to receive the support, connection, and community needed to heal and thrive. Courtney believes deeply that every person deserves a chance to heal, grow, and succeed, no matter what they have lived through.
